Looking for the app? GLP Gone is a GLP-1 tracker for Android: doses, weight, meals, protein and symptoms.
We never see your data. The GLP Gone app has no servers, no accounts, and no analytics or advertising networks of its own. Everything you log is stored on your own phone, and we cannot see your weight, your meals, your medications, or anything else you log. A few parts of the Android app are supplied by Google (the barcode scanner and Google Play purchases) and exchange technical information with Google; none of it includes what you log. The details are below.
Everything you enter (weight history, meals, doses, symptoms, notes, settings) is saved in your device's local storage — in your browser on the web, or on the device itself in the Android app. It is never transmitted to us.
Your phone's own backup. If Google's backup is turned on for your Android phone, Android may include GLP Gone's data in that backup, so it can come back when you move to a new phone. That backup is encrypted, belongs to your Google account, and is handled by Google under its own privacy policy. We never receive it. You can turn it off in your phone's Settings, under Google and then Backup.
In the Android app, you can choose to connect GLP Gone to Android Health Connect. There are two separate permissions, and each is asked for only when you tap the matching button:
The app reads no other health data, and the only thing it can write is a weigh-in you entered yourself, after you switch that on. What it reads is stored only in the app on your device and is never transmitted to us or anyone else. You can revoke any of these permissions at any time in your device's Health Connect settings, and the app works fully without them (you can always enter steps and weight by hand). Weigh-ins already sent to Health Connect stay there until you delete them in Health Connect.
If you turn on the optional app lock, GLP Gone asks for your fingerprint, face or phone PIN when it opens. Android itself does that check and only tells the app whether it succeeded. GLP Gone never receives, sees or stores your fingerprint, face data or PIN.
If you add the GLP Gone widget to your home screen, it shows when your next dose is due and how much protein you've logged today. The widget doesn't send that information anywhere, but anyone who can see your home screen can read it. If you turn on app lock, the widget shows no health details, just "Locked".
From the app, we, Score Software LLC, collect nothing. We run no servers, and the app never sends us your weight, meals, medications, or any other personal data. The app contains no analytics or advertising libraries of our own.
This website is different. glpgone.com's information pages — this page, About, Support, Terms, the app page, the press kit and the Guides — use HeyCatch, a web analytics service, to count visits and see which pages and links people use: for example, how many visitors go on to the Google Play page. It does not run on the tracker itself (glpgone.com's home page, where you log), it never receives anything you log, and it has nothing to do with the Android app. HeyCatch's own privacy policy covers the data it collects.
What Google's parts of the Android app send to Google. The Android app uses these components supplied by Google, which exchange information with Google under Google's privacy policy. None of it includes anything you log in GLP Gone, and none of it is sent to us:
We do not store or retain any user data. Score Software LLC operates no servers and holds no copy of anything you enter — so there is nothing for us to retain, and our retention period for user data is zero.
All of your data is retained on your own device (and in your phone's own Google backup, if you have that turned on), and only for as long as you choose to keep it. Retention ends the moment you delete it: use "Start fresh" inside the app, clear the app's storage in your device settings, or uninstall the app, and the data is permanently gone. Backup files you export are retained wherever you chose to save them, under your control, until you delete them.
Barcode lookup sends only a product barcode (never personal data) to Open Food Facts; we do not log or retain those requests. Google's barcode scanner, purchases and ratings are handled by Google as described above; we never receive or retain that information, including payment details.
If you choose to scan a food barcode, the app sends only that product barcode to the Open Food Facts database (openfoodfacts.org) to look up its nutrition information and product photo, which are then shown to you. This is the only request GLP Gone itself makes. No personal data — nothing about you, your weight, or your health — is ever included. In the Android app the scanner is Google's own code scanner, which reads the barcode for GLP Gone, so the app itself never gets access to your camera; Google's scanner sends Google the technical information described under "What we collect". The rest of the app works offline. Apart from the scanner and Google Play, nothing leaves your device.
The app and this website show a short, hand-picked list of product suggestions with affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate, GLP Gone earns from qualifying purchases. Tapping a product link simply opens Amazon in your browser — the app sends nothing about you, and no personal data is shared with Amazon by us. Once you're on Amazon's site, Amazon's own privacy policy applies. These are plain affiliate links and the only promotional content in the app: there are no advertising networks and no tracking libraries.
The app can export your data as a file. That file is created on your device and goes only where you choose to save or send it. Guard it like you would any private health record.
The Android app also keeps one private backup copy of your data inside its own storage on your phone, where other apps cannot read it, so it can offer to restore your data if the app's main storage is ever lost. "Start fresh", clearing the app's storage, or uninstalling removes it.
Use "Start fresh" inside the app, or clear the app's storage in your device settings. Because we hold no copy, deletion on your device is total and permanent — we could not recover it for you even if you asked.
GLP Gone is intended for adults using GLP-1 medications under the care of a healthcare provider. It is not directed at children under 13.

If this policy ever changes (for example, if an optional sync feature is added someday), the change will be posted here with a new effective date before it takes effect.
