GLP Gone

How can we help?

Answers to the questions people ask most. If yours isn't here, email us and a real person will read it.

Pro & billing

How do I cancel GLP Gone Pro?

Pro is billed through Google Play, so you cancel it there:

  1. Open the Google Play Store app.
  2. Tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptionsSubscriptions.
  3. Choose GLP Gone and tap Cancel subscription.

You keep Pro until the end of the period you've already paid for. Cancelling never deletes anything you've logged.

Can I get a refund?

Payments are handled entirely by Google Play — we never see your card details. Refund requests go through Google Play, from your Google Play order history.

I got a new phone. How do I get Pro back?

Install GLP Gone on the new phone while signed in to the same Google account you paid with. Open the Pro screen and tap “Already subscribed, or bought Pro before? Restore”.

Bought the original one-time Pro unlock? It's yours for life — restore it the same way.

What's free, and what does Pro add?

Logging, your dashboard, coaching, weekly reports and backups are free, with no time limit and no card needed. GLP Gone Pro is $6.99 a month and adds the insights engine, the printable doctor-visit report, unlimited barcode scanning, photo compare and premium themes. No ads either way.

Your data

Where is my data stored? Can you see it?

On your phone. GLP Gone has no account, no servers and no analytics, so we couldn't see your weight, meals or doses even if we wanted to. If your phone's Google backup is on, Android may include the app's data in that backup, which belongs to your Google account, not to us.

The one exception is barcode lookup: it sends only the product's barcode — nothing about you — to the Open Food Facts database. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

How do I move my data to a new phone?

If Google's backup is turned on for your phone, your log may come back by itself when you set up the new phone and install GLP Gone. The sure way is a backup file:

  1. On the old phone: Profile → Settings → Your Data → Export everything. Save the file somewhere the new phone can reach, like Google Drive or an email to yourself.
  2. On the new phone: Profile → Settings → Your Data → Restore from a file, then choose that file.

Treat that file like any private health record.

How do I delete everything?

Go to Profile → Settings → Your Data → Start Fresh (New User). This permanently erases all GLP Gone data on that phone. Since we keep no copy, it can't be undone — export a backup first if you might want it later. Uninstalling the app also deletes it.

Using the app

Is there an iPhone version?

Not right now. GLP Gone is available for Android phones on Google Play.

Which medications does it work with?

Any GLP-1 medication, including Ozempic®, Wegovy®, Mounjaro® and Zepbound®.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. Everything works offline except looking up a new barcode, which needs a connection to fetch the product's nutrition.

My steps aren't showing.

Steps come from Android Health Connect, if you allow it — GLP Gone only ever reads your step count. You can turn that access on or off in your phone's Health Connect settings, or type your steps in by hand with Enter manually.

Can I lock GLP Gone with my fingerprint?

Yes. Go to Profile → Settings → Privacy → Lock GLP Gone. The app then asks for your fingerprint, face or phone PIN when it opens, and again when you come back after more than a minute away. Android does the checking, so GLP Gone never sees your fingerprint. Your phone needs a screen lock set up first.

Is there a home-screen widget?

Yes. Touch and hold an empty spot on your home screen, tap Widgets, find GLP Gone and add it. It shows when your next shot is due and how much protein you've logged today. With app lock on, the widget just says "Locked".

Can GLP Gone bring in weigh-ins from my smart scale?

Yes, if your scale's app shares weight with Android Health Connect, as Withings and Samsung Health do. On the Progress tab, tap Sync weight from phone and allow weight access. New weigh-ins come in whenever you open GLP Gone, and a day you've already logged by hand keeps your own number.

Can it follow my phone's dark mode?

Yes. Profile → UI → Match my phone switches between a light and a dark look whenever your phone does.

I don't see these newer features.

The fingerprint lock, widget, scale sync and dark-mode matching arrived in version 1.8. Update GLP Gone from Google Play to get them.

Is GLP Gone medical advice?

No. It's a tracking tool and coach, not a doctor. Always talk to your doctor or care team before changing your medication, diet or exercise. See our Terms & Medical Disclaimer.
